| Little Adventures has teamed up with Candlelighters of New York to bring hundreds of dresses and costumes to children with severe illnesses. Their goal is to help bring joy to the children who need it most. Children fighting cancer are just like any others, they love playing make believe and having their doll dress up in a matching outfit is priceless. They are warriors and dressing up as a warrior in their capes and swords makes them feel more powerful. Our products are made with the kid's comfort in mind…always soft and gentle on their skin. Throughout the process, Candlelighters provide an emotional support system full of love and comfort while the children traveling to New York are so far away from home. The aim is to be able to help improve the quality of life for children suffering from cancer, offering a fun, positive atmosphere to help them get a sense of normality back in their lives. |

Little Adventures has been working with Dr Sundwall's charity (Smiles for Latin America) for many years. We have been able to provide dress ups to children in orphanages throughout the world. Â According to Dr. Sundwall, "The princess dresses have become the highlight of the charitable package and while it's a non necessity item, it brings joy in an otherwise dim situation". The doctors and dentists have been providing services for free to children in need as well as those who are preparing to serve missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. When Little Adventures heard that they were traveling to these remote locations, they wanted to help by handing out thousands of dresses to orphans in these far-removed locations. Any time we can reach out to communities that are less fortunate we jump at the opportunity. We love putting a smile on a kids face who may not have the luxury of one of these dresses in their life. We love being part of making kids happy |
